Lakeside Retreat on Parker Pond

A small efficient lakeside retreat was designed as a summer vacation home in the woods overlooking Parker Pond in north central Maine. It was designed to take advantage of the sloping site and features open ceilings, custom detailing and a “cabin feeling”. It was the winner of the 1999 Long Island Chapter AIA Award for Small Projects.
